Criteria to become a Member

​

• Studio Members must be at least 18 years old & have taken a minimum of two ceramic/pottery courses.

• Participants are expected to exhibit proficient knowledge of clay and glaze materials, studio tools/equipment, clay building techniques and cleaning procedures to work safely & independently in the studio. 

 

Cost

Cost of studio membership is $135 + HST per month.​​

• Receive a discounted rate when you purchase multiple months of membership upfront:

  • Annual membership (12 months) - take 10% off

  • Biannual membership (6 months)- take 6% off

  • Quarterly membership (3 months)- take 3% off

• Members are expected to purchase clay at Beyond Pottery. This fee includes the cost of studio glazes and kiln firings needed to complete your work.

• Senior’s can receive a 10% discount on their monthly membership fee.

 

What’s included in a membership

• Our membership includes a dedicated 1/2 shelf for each person to store their belongings.

• Access to pottery wheels, a slab roller, general studio tools and decorating materials like glazes, coloured slips and oxides.

• Members can access the entire studio during opening hours. Please see the weekly calendar on our website for current hours of operation.

• During course times members can use the designated member work rooms with two pottery wheels and three work tables.
