Private Pottery Lessons
Come spend time with an experienced ceramic instructor and get hands-on with the potter’s wheel! Whether you’re totally new to clay or looking to level up your skills, this lesson is all about you.
We will customize the session to suit your specific needs, whether you're focusing on hand-building, sculpting, or wheel throwing—be it mastering centering, pulling up walls, or exploring new forms. Our team will be there to guide you every step of the way, demonstrate techniques, and help you build confidence on the wheel.
What’s Included:

Expert Instruction: A dedicated instructor to guide you through the process, from the basics to more advanced techniques.

Clay & Materials: Includes clay and access to all the tools and equipment you’ll need.

Firing for Your Pieces: We’ll fire 2 of your finished pieces (bisque and glaze firing included). Additional pieces can be fired for a small fee.

Glazing Options: Choose your glaze, or schedule a follow-up session to learn the glazing process.

Custom Tailoring: Focus on whatever you’d like to improve—centering, pulling walls, shaping forms, or experimenting with decoration.
Duration:
Sessions typically run for 2 hours.
Cost Handbuilding Private lesson:
Prices start at $65 per person per hour private session for one person.
$60 per-hour private session for two people.
Cost Wheel Throwing:
Prices start at $75 per person per hour private session for one person.
$65 per-hour private session for two people. (3 or more people, please see our group booking page)
Scheduling: Flexible times to fit your schedule—just let us know what works for you.
What to Bring: An apron or towel and clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
