Course Description

Start Date: December 7 2024 Start Time: 2pm - 4pm Time: 2 hrs Instructor: Yvette Garcia-Mier Discover the joy of pottery in our hands-on luminary workshop, where you'll have the chance to craft your own stunning clay luminary that will bring a soft, ambient glow to any room. In this workshop, you'll learn how to design and create a clay luminary—a decorative lantern that emits a soft, beautiful light. These luminaries can be customized with various cut-out patterns and designs to create mesmerizing light displays. What’s included: All necessary materials, including clay, tools, templates, and glazes, will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! Who is this class for? Whether you're a beginner or have some experience in pottery, this class is designed to be enjoyable and accessible to everyone. How long is the workshop? 2 Hours with clean up included. Hot Tips: Bring an apron or an old tshirt. Bring your inspiration. Pieces usually take 3-4 weeks to be processed. We first bisque fire your pieces after a week or so once it’s dried completely, then once cooled we glaze and re-fire. Participants are emailed when their pieces are ready for pick up!
